Leyton Sixth Form- Enrolment Day?

Apparently people have started getting their letters for LSC. Anyone got theirs yet?

I have received mine.

Basically, I completed GCSE maths at the beginning of yr 10. I then did as maths. It went pretty well and I managed to get an A. At A2 the work is really intense. Looking back now AS looks extremely easy compared to it. There is a massive gap between AS and A2. I still don't know how I managed it with my other GCSE'S.

I see that you've done AS already? How comes you're doing it again.

whats so good about this sixth form? it seems to be getting more famous, even got an advertisement in the post for it?

Wow that sounds like you've done really amazing in A level maths for a gcse student!

Yep, i've done AS this year. My 24th post on this thread sums up why im resiting the year.

I've been so depressed about my life lately. But i've managed to motivate myself and now i look forward to year ahead.

I know what AS level maths is like now and further maths is going to be awesome!
How did you find S1?? Its the exam i really hate most atm.


Leyton is much better than sir george monoux, brooke house and newvic - thats what is so good about it.

I found S1 really really easy. The content is pretty much mostly GCSE. However when we did it because of some problems which we had, we only had 3 weeks o do it. We managed it and the exam was easy.
I found M1 really hard though. I wouldn't recommend it. Do D1 instead.

I do A level physics and i've made a start on M1 allready.
So far, i like really M1.

I will be doing further maths, so i have to do M1 and M2.
I will also do D1 and D2.

Yep, i've finished physics unit 1

Im fasting atm and the days are 18 hours long.
I've tried doing self study when fasting, i really cant do it because my head hurts so much.

So basically, i will have to wait till the end of ramadan to do self studying.
I will whizz thorugh C1, C2 and S1 to get them out of the way.

That's good mashaAllah.
Hopefully we'll meet up in LSC. I'm currently leading taraweeh in Wales so I'm chilling atm basically.

You lead taraweeh in a mosque??

At the mosque which i go to, the really big man who is head of it has a son who is 17.
This is the 2nd year his son is leading the taraweeh with the imam who is 30 (i think).

Yh. I am a hafiz. This is my third yr leading it. I completed the quran in yr 9.

Cool, I would say its a great number, even though we probably have no idea what it means!
My school opens for results at 10:30 so about 11:30is. Just want to get it done.
