Typical Day for a Therapeutic Radiographer

Hi everyone,

I'm researching into a career in therapeutic radiography and I was wondering if anyone could shine some light on a typical day "at the office".
Do you often have to administer IV's and radioactive dyes or is this the job of the oncology nurses?
I'm not great with needles (although I have not tried to inject another, I'm just not good at getting them).
Also in order to administer internal rods and tubes in brachytherapy do you need to specialise or do all therapeutic radiographers do this?

Any information would be great as I don't want to be a rubbish therapeutic radiographer! I can handle external tumours I think but is there anything else I should expect?

Thanks
