PhD experience at Lancaster

I am starting a PhD in Health Research (Clinical Psychology) in October and I am really excited. However, since I don't really know what to expect, I would like to ask someone who's currently pursuing a doctoral program what he/she thinks about the PhD experience at LU.
Also I would be keen to meet any other PhD fresher in the same situation.

I'm in the same situation. Not at Lancaster but at Manchester. I'm doing a psych PhD too. A lot of people have told me experiences differ entirely based on your research topic and your supervisors.

I'm also starting a PhD at Lancaster in October in the health and medicine college but in the field of science.
Have you applied for on campus acomodation?
