Who told you that buddy? Rolling Stone?

It came out four years ago as well so even if it was as good as you say it was (it wasn't) it's only been four years. Four years is too quick to call something classic. Kanye cock suckers were saying it was a classic when it was released  which is just knee jerk.

It wouldn't even be in the top 20 Hip-Hop albums of the 21st century, it's not even Kanye's best album.

Yikes!!! LOOL!!! it is by far kanye's best album and no album has come close to it this century or this decade. it is rightfully one of the best albums of all time.
^ Typical Kanye fan.

If any Kanye album "changed music", it would be 808's and Heartbreaks, for popularizing the overuse of auto-tune and rappers singing :nn:

It's a shame Betacra doesn't post more.

MBDTF is responsible for GKMC, bon iver, funs album, channel orange and many more. it has been influential. its just a shame that not many artists are good enough to match or better this album. only GKMC, black messiah and channel orange have come close.

Born To Die by Lana del Rey. It is impossible not to see its influence on pop music of the last few years. Rihanna ('Diamonds', 'Love Without Tragedy' - especially with the James Dean and Marilyn Monroe name-dropping), Lorde (her whole album), Taylor Swift (Wildest Dreams), Selena Gomez etc.

Like them or not, Oasis' Definitely Maybe DID change music. And before that, The Stone Roses' debut did.

Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes probably did too more recently, but there have been very few throughout history.
