Is anybody here going to leeds nxt september?
I AM !!!!!!! and cant wait to start..

if so, what course will you be studying? im going to be doing medicine if i get the required grades (AAB) which should be interesting.

does anybody here live in leeds? whats it like for students - i've heard its an amazing place but didn't have any time to look around when i went to my interview.

oh - and does anybody know which is the closest accommodation to the medical building (worsley building)

I'm going to Leeds (hopefully- BBB offer and got high As for AS so unless something goes super wrong I should be there). Can't wait! To do economics by the way...

I so know what you mean about the accommodation thing... sooo hard to choose. I'm going to go to the accommodation viewing day in May. Should definately help me!

Picking accomodation is a nightmare though - stuck between Clarence Dock and Henry Price..hmmm decisions..

Do you know anything about the open day other than the date? Is there transport between the places or what? Or do we have to make our way around? I can't seem to work out what will happen

Charles Morris is probably the closesy to the Worsley building. Henry Price is on campus as well so is a 5 minute walk across campus, as are Ellerslie Hall and Lyddon Hall. Otherwise your looking at a bus ride every morning.

I'm at Leeds at the minute (in my final year, how scary!) and I'm happy to answer any more specific questions about the university and the city if you just PM me. x.

i know what u mean about the accommodation - nightmare! narrowed it down to 3 but im definitely going self catered, and im not staying on campus!!!

yeh me too. the food will be ****, total waste of money. id much rather have en suite which will be roughly same price as catered. just gotta learn how to cook pasta.

I'm doin Artificial Intelligence and Maths there . There's only 6 students in the whole uni who do that course, seems a bit daunting at the mo!!

Wow! I wish I'd done an interesting course, straight maths is so dull!

The AI involves loads of different things like image and speech processing to actual robotics. The more I read around the subject the more interested I become . Having said that, I also love Maths so hopefully I'm gonna have a great time!!
