Hi, Harvard Referencing is done by first initial, surname, date of publication, title of text and edition, location of publication, and then publisher.
For example, if I wanted to a reference a book called Introduction to Economics in its third edition authored by Michael Stanley, published in 2009 in London, by Penguin books, I would do it thus:
M. Stanley (2009). Introduction to Economics 3rd Edition. London: Penguin Books
That is the way I do it and it is perfectly accepted by my uni but I could be wrong.
Also, if you want to reference a quote in an essay, then you would do it as surname, year of publication, and page number. For example:
"Marginal analysis is an important concept in economics as it...." (Stanley, 2009, p.141).
