College courses

Hello,

I have one more year to go before i go to college, however i find it better if I know what to study in advance. So I wanted to ask, what subject would you study if you would want to do something with medicine? I know for sure that I'm going to take Biology or Biology human and chemistry, but I'm not sure about the other 3 (i want to take 5 subjects, and then drop one). I was also thinking about mathematics, but I'm not that sure that this is going to be suitable for me, but as it would be really helpful for the university, I might as well take it.

Also, What is the big difference between biology and biology human? I asked my career adviser and she said it's the same basically, but I'm not quite sure about it, as well as I'm not sure which one to take at college.

I'm planning to go to 6th form after I have done my GCSE.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Human Bio only deals with plants in unit 5 if I remember correctly.
Medical schools really don't discriminate between the two but if you plan to do Biology at uni then Human Bio will be discriminated against and sometimes even rejected if used as a substitute for Biology.
