Books for Drama degree?

For those of you who did Drama - what books/websites would you recommend? Want to be prepared for my course in autumn, and didn't do Drama for A Level so am feeling very out of practice! Any suggestions would be much appreciated :smile:

Read A LOT of plays!

Trust me on this. Forget about all drama/acting books; get the whole collection of Shakespeare, Brecht, Mamet, whatever, and read, read, read... Most of your theory will be based around plays, and practice too. Good luck!
