social work at uni or with the OU????!!!!

I have a place at a Scottish university,after the Summer,to study for a second undergradute degree in social work. I have an 18mth old and the closer the start date gets the more im worried about the amount of attendance required and how i will fund it. It would seem that studying social work with the OU would be more suitable for me- but how difficult is it to get sponsership to study social work with the OU. I dont work in social care at the moment. Any advice welcome. Thank you
