Need advice on choosing university

I really want to study nursing but I don't know which university would be best? Also, I'd prefer it if I could go to London or somewhere down south as I live in the north west but people have told me it would be better to stay here and study at Edge Hill, as my placement would be in the hospital I would most likely be working in when I graduate. Would this make a difference if I studied away from home, would it affect my chances of getting a job at that hospital other than the fact I wouldn't be as familiar with it as I would be with the one in London if I chose to go there? Really don't know what's best.. advice please? Thank you

What do you want to do? Every nursing degree leads to registration so technically it shouldn't matter where you train. Lots of people get their first job in an unfamiliar hospital so I wouldn't worry about that. Can you see yourself spending three years at home or down south?
