Employment with 2.2 in Biomedical Science

The most likely outcome is I will end up with a (high) 2.2 because my second year will hold me back by 3% (was lazy).

I know life will be hard with a 2.2 and most doors will close in my face but I know it's not the end of the world and I can reopen the doors with hard work. What are the best things to do after graduation? I know it will be harder for me to get into a masters and graduate schemes got shot to hell because the requirement is minimum 2.1.

Should I work hard in trying to get into a masters and making up for the 2.2 (I'm confident with my academic capability) or should I focus on trying to get experience and how should I go about it? I don't know the process of finding work experience in a relevant field. Also how should I network, what are the best ways?

Any tips or advice will be much appreciated, thanks in advance.
