BCCC isn't too bad, AAB is great though  Well done! Are you going to uni this year?

I am starting my second year at uni in October hopefully.

Say you've worked really hard all year, fallen in love with a university/course that requires certain entry requirements, and your family/teachers have high expectations of you. You open your results on results day and realise that they're lower than what you, and everyone else, were expecting - what would/did you do? How would/did you tell your family/teachers?

I'm mainly talking about AS here, so it's not as complicated as A2 with university places and clearing. I'm just wondering how people would deal/have dealt with disappointment, despite working hard.

I wanted to +rep this because I have been considering this all summer and whenever I try and talk about this to my family, they dismiss the idea. I think I'm mostly scared of my uni application being hindered by my AS grades because I did alright at GCSE but my grades are nothing special.
