Halogen-Halide ion reaction

Complete the table to show the expected colours:

I say 1) purple
2) orange
3) colourless

3) is colourless because there is no reaction between Cl-(aq) and Br2(aq) or I2(aq).
Why is it orange?
I thought that:

Help?
Yes, but as there is no reaction the bromine that you add will interact with the organic solvent to give an orange colour ...

Ahh...
Also,
Can you help me with another part of the same question:
These three experiments alone are unable to confirm the order of reactivity for Cl2, Br2 and I2.
Suggest one further displacement reaction which could be carried out to fonrim the order of reactivity of Cl2, Br2 and I2.
Is it:
Br2 + 2I- ===> I2 + 2Br-
Can I put the equation, or...?
yes
