Carphone Warehouse Application

I submitted two applications to the Carphone Warehouse a week ago and one for Phones4u about 10 days ago. Both were done correctly and were submitted successfully on their website. I've taken all the questionnaires and completed the applications as I should have.

I've not received a reply at all. I have been rejected for posts at both places before because I applied with a crappy CV that wasn't up to date, and I received an email stating my rejection a few days after the application. Shall I assume I haven't got any job at either of them? It seems a little strange that they've not replied now when they had before, although nobody has tried to telephone me in this time and the last emails I received were those confirming my application.

I wouldn't worry about it. I applied at CFW and it was 3 weeks later that I got a phone call stating that they had 'just recieved my application'.
I guess it takes some time for the particular store to get your application.
