Did anyone go to the Balloon Festival this year? Thoughts? Unfortunately I went on the day it was too windy so no balloons actually went up!

Also, does anyone know when Brisfest is?

Went to the Balloon Fiesta and LOVED the Nightglow! Was gutted for waking up at 5 and the balloons were not launched that morning... well, maybe next year.

The balloons didn't go up and we couldn't be bothered to wait another hour or so for the nightglow so we left, went to a few pubs then a gig instead!

Ahh I get back to Bristol the week after the 22nd-23rd! Bit unfortunate! Ah well, I've been to plenty of festivals in Bristol this summer (Harbourfest, Corifest, Balloon Fiesta, See No Evil). It's a shame the St Paul's Carnival has been cancelled too. That's another one I wanted to go to.

Love how there's so much going on in Bristol all the time!

I have seen the Nightglow on Thursday as well and loved it so much that I thought it was worth waiting another 3hours for it

I always miss the stuff going on in summer, but compensate for it during the term-time. Love that there is at least one gig every week I can/want to/am going to see. I wish our term started a bit earlier as well
