Please can someone provide a rational reply as to why someone identifying themselves as black changes their skin colour? How I choose to identify myself doesn't change my skin colour.

Not surprising to see that most of the women mentioned here are lighter skinned than your average 'black' person. I'm not complaining - I prefer light skinned black women too i.e your Beyonces and Lauren Londons.
