Effect of AS results in uni applications?

I got my results today, they were good, but in the opposite subjects I needed/expected.

My results were:

Maths A, Human Biology A, Chemistry B, Physics B.

I want to go to one of the better universities and study Chemistry (eg. York or Bath)
Though these require an A in Chemistry at A2 (Which I can easily get)
will I still be offered a conditional with my B as it is now? I have the entry requirements to get in, just in the wrong subjects.

Also, I'll be dropping human biology next year as I don't really enjoy it.

Well done on those grades, they're excellent!

Yep, it's still possible that you'll get conditional offers. You just need to make sure your predicted grades are as high as they can be (i.e. an A in Chemistry if that's what the universities require).
