Hi,

I was wondering if any current/past LSE Law students did any prep work or reading prior to starting their first year. I did some work (which by accident was recycled) and now I am unsure whether it is really necessary to restart the work? If anyone is unable to answer my question, could anyone suggest some reading material. I would really appreciate it. Thankyou to anyone in advance x

Hey, I'm going in to my second year of law at LSE.

To be honest, there is not all that much that you can do. The first week will get you into gear and after that you will be fine.

If you are itching to do some law, you could take a look at a few cases. This is really just to familiarise yourself with the layout, but is a good way of looking at legal reasoning. Cases are really just made up of a number of essays by judges, so being able to emulate, to some extent, the style of some of the greatest ever legal minds is by no means a bad thing.

If you would like a few suggestions then I am happy to give you some.
