ucl vs southampton Msc civil engineering?

Hi guys!

I realy need your help!
I have Beng in Civil engineering from London South Bank University and now
I was accepted for MSC Civil Engineering in UCL and Southampton and i dont know what to choose! I know that both are very good universities but someone told me that UCL doesn't deserve their money and has only the rumor... :frown: because the modules are general and not technical
If you are alumni from UCL helps you to find job easier? And what about Southampton? Is better than UCL :s-smilie:

Hi there,


One of my planning options is to do my MSc in civil engineering at UCL and was wondering which university did you choose to go at the end? And how was it so far in terms of how good the modules are and the help from lecturers?

Southampton. No question. One of the leading Universities in the world for all things Engineering. Go on a visit/walk around and you'll see what I mean. Southampton is a fabulous Uni community and also a very much cheaper place to live than London.
