1. I integrated cos5x + cosx to get 1/5sin5x +sinx and was wondering if i should simplify it any further or if the examiners would be happy with that?

I'm sure you wouldn't be expected to do anything else with it.

+ a constant on the end,because if you differentiate a constant you get 0,so if you integrate +0 which is in every function it will be some constant
