Transferring to St Andrews from Oxford?

You would probably be able to transfer into 2nd year and there is a transfers thread if you want specific information on the process. Also here's st andrews own page about it .

Notably if you want to enter year 2 you have to have first year modules for 2 subjects as in sub-honours (years 1 and 2) we all have to take 2 subjects. It also states both schools would have to accept you. I think this is different if you want to apply for direct second year entry based on your school qualifications (though you can only do this for some science degrees) but then you aren't transferring any credits you will have achieved at Oxford and you're really just reapplying.

Please bear in mind that you will only be accepted for a transfer if there are spaces available on your course. St Andrews, like Oxford, is a very popular university so there is no guarantee that a space will be available.
