Part time job?

I'll be sixteen this winter, and I would - ideally - want to get a job [part time, of course].

What shops or, well, chains would be likely to accept me? Take into account I'm doing my work experience around March 2014 [last year I was unable to do so for reasons], and my CV would be pretty bare.

And to those who've gotten a job at around my age; do they give you a schedule or, once you're hired, they sort of choose hours after school or on weekends?

Thanks

Sports Direct always hire lol
Next always have vacancies too I believe.
Just apply anywhere and everywhere though, not just retail.
And I'd think you'd tell them when you can work and they'd fit you into the rota on that
I started working part time at McDonalds.

I hate it.

You could always get a paper round? I still have one to bring in extra cash. (Free local paper, not a news agent one)

There are almost always vacancies available; with no interview process.

They usually pay the minimum wage, but with extra for doing leaflets. And a lot extra for doing cover/ overtime.

I get paid for two hours per week, but do my round in 1 hour 20 mins and still get paid for the two.
