    Hi,

    Please can any moderators or people post a guide/faq on the new Ucas pgce/school direct
    application process for 2013/14.. I found out its all changed now and you apply through ucas not gttr. Also how about the qts tests are they still the same e.g pass mark etc.

    If you look in the current PGCE 2014 thread there is a lot of info on the changes to the application process. I will try to get a sticky up about the changes soon.
    The QTS test changes haven't yet been formally announced, and when they are the current QTS sticky will be updated with them.
    Essentially, the tests are currently KS3 standard, and will soon be changing to GCSE B standard. The timed element will be taken away from the numeracy and the content will be harder. The literacy will require some sort of short essay to be written alongside other tasks.
