Why do I feel disgusted at seeing two guys holding hands?

I don't really like PDA in general but if you feel disgust at homosexuals holding hands particularly but not at hetersexual couples then you have some homophobia, probably due to poor upbringing or uncomfortable with your own sexuality.

It is an interesting question since I am sure this ill at ease feeling occurs in a lot of otherwise non homophobic people. It may be the legacy of the, recent, past when homophobia was accepted as the norm and homosexuality wasn't visible. I think a lot of people's views have changed in recent times (even the Tory Party's, allegedly) and there is a journey to complete lack of prejudice.
