You write a gender bias essay for culture bias (according to AQA)

"The case for gender as a form of cultural bias can also be made via the argument that the different
genders are social groups who share similar beliefs and practices. However, it must be emphasised
that this justification must be explicitly made by the candidate. Those offering gender bias essays
without such justification should receive 0 marks."

DOES THIS MEAN I CAN WRITE A GENDER BIAS ESSAY AND BY STATING THE JUSTIFICATION ABOVE GET AWAY WITH IT AS A CULTURE BIAS ESSAY?

i havent done cultural bias, but its interesting to know if in dire "mind gone blank" stage!

i think it just means you can make the point that gender is a culture and use a few studies to back up your point.

Dont think you can write an all out gender essay as culture thou.

Gender = culture is too weird a concept for me to get my head around! I'm pleased it works to help get more marks but beyond that I just don't buy it!!!

According to Aqa a culture is a groupe of people who share the same vaules etc hence gender can be regarded as a culture but you right its ODD to say the least.
