Should i do AS and A2 in the same year?

So here's my situation.

Last year i studied AS at Sixth form

I studied:
Economics U
Sociology U
Citizenship D
Financial Services Diploma ( Level 3 a-level equivalent) got a B

My 6th form were reluctant to let me onto A2 which i understood but also did not let me retake AS which i did not understand.

I failed because i didn't revise do any homework etc and not because i wasn't capable of passing these subjects.

Im gnna study Economics, Sociology again but at home myself since im a year behind should i do AS and A2 in the same year or just AS?

Thoughts?

If I understand your post, you plan on doing distance learning?
To be honest if you're still within age of free education I would go to another 6th form or college. If that isn't an option then completing two full A levels in one year with no January exams will be hard; you need a long hard think about what you really want to do. There's no point enrolling on a distance course(Have you seen how much those things cost?) if you aren't going to work hard.

I'm doing distance learning as well, fast track history. So I'm sort of in the same boat as you'll be if you do go ahead (However I've already completed my A levels so I guess that's the difference
