Whenever my chemistry teacher asked a question about the intermolecular forces in alkanes and no one put their hand up to answer, he used to make this stupid noise. He was pretending to start a van, to indicate Van der Waals' forces :rolleyes:

Practice past papers and individual questions, use the best textbooks available for your specification and of course patience as you'll want to cover the entire syllabus and be confident with exam questions by the time you go into that exam hall. If you're stuck with a particular question or concept, either ask your teacher about it or post it here on TSR :smile:

Good luck A2 students, you're in for one bumpy ride...
Got a B at AS and achieved the A* at A2, so if you need general advice from someone who was not so great at the3 end of AS, i wiil be happy to help. (OCR A Chem)
