We finished unit 4&5 too but our mocks were in Jan. We are starting our ISAs
But I agree with you in terms of the maths. It's annoying how they assume we are all good with maths or something :frown:

Has anyone started ISA prep yet? If so, how are you preparing?

Ok lol
q=84/149+84=0.361
P+q=1.0
p=1.0-0.361=0.639
Heterozygous=2pq=2*0.639*0.361*100%

Why is the black beetle q and not q2 q^2 as it's black wouldn't it have the genotype rr? :O

My bad..square root of 0.361=0.6

Aah okay :biggrin:
I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of BIOL4, even though it's deadly boring.

ISA certainly was deadly boring. 😕

(No I haven't done the paper before I get a million PM's asking for answers! - I've only done the practical)

What topic was the practical on mate :smile:

A2 one was on reaction times. So we had to put our hand in cold water for a minute and test our reaction time and do the same at room temp. All to do with homeostasis i think.

Honestly, the practical is incredibly easy, nothing to worry about

good luck

p.s the AS isa was on osmosis and potatoes and effect of concentration of black current juice on the mass of a potato.
