Nurse to do Graduate Medicine

Hi guys,

I am currently a nurse looking to apply this month for graduate medicine.
Financially, I have to do the 4 year course.

I wondered if there are other nurses or health care professionals out there who have applied?

I have sat my ukcat and a little disappointed, my total score is 2720 and average is 680.

Any ideas of the best med schools to apply to. My list is Kings (ukcat too low?) Barts, Warwick, Newcastle and Leicester.

My A levels were Geography A, Biology B, Maths B. Physics AS C.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am in the same situation as you, applying this year.

I would also think about avoiding Newcastle as they are quite UKCAT heavy. Leicester should be a good shot for you (I am assuming you have a 2:1 or above and the years work experience), as they put emphasis on PS and references as well as your academics.
