BSc Management suggested reading? Help!!!!!!!

Hello everybody.

EU student here, applying for BSc Management, 2014, at LSE, Warwick, KCL (still doing research and making decisions). My question is: what would you suggest that I should read to gain further knowledge into the subject (haven't studied anything like Business at school) and possibly mention in my PS?

There are so many business and management books out there and I don't know what reviews to trust and what not to. I've found a list of suggested reading for Oxford's Economics and Management. Other than that, I don't know what to choose.

What have I read about the subject or around the subject? How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie and Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert Cialdini. However, I'm afraid that these are too simple (not that I wouldn't enjoy simplicity and straightforward information) and commercial to be anywhere around highly regarded.

Again, what do you recommend? Thank you in advance!!
