JP Morgan in London and JP Morgan in Bournemouth?

They have different functions in different locations. London is generally the most competitive though. As far as I know, Bournemouth just have Operations. London has all of FO/Risk and a few other things.

Well an employer will see the brand name and be impressed. What matters more is the division, no one looks at your location and rejects you because of that. Obviously London looks better but it's not everything. The London branch is more competitive because the more competitive functions are based here. Whether you end up in Bournemouth or London depends on what role you apply for.

As a side, I personally would rather be in London because it is where the action is based. The company will provide opportunities regardless of location but London has most of the roles/more competitive roles.
