Good University Choices? (help!)

I'm applying for History and Politics at the moment and I just wondered if anyone had any opinions on these uni choices/ recommendations for others?
My predicted Grades are AAB, with an A in History and I already have a B in General Studies.
My Choices are:
Liverpool
Newcastle
Queen Mary, London
Glasgow
Northumbria

Liverpool is a solid traditional Uni - the History Dept has a good reputation and has interesting specialisms like Irish History, Slavery etc. Museums etc in Liverpool are excellent and the Dept itself is housed in beautiful old Georgian town-houses in Abercrombie Square.

Cant comment on the other Unis, but Sussex would be another AAB choice worth looking at - the Uni is strong on Social Sciences and the History course has interesting optional units - http://www.sussex.ac.uk/study/ug/2013/1678/26125#subject

PS. If you can, go for a course with some study abroad or a work placement - always well regarded by employers.

Ahh, I hadn't looked there, thank you! Yes, I am looking to study abroad so that is one of the factors I've considered.
