No Bra Day 13th October- breast cancer awareness

http://www.awarenessdays.co.uk/ai1ec_event/national-no-bra-day/?instance_id=3086

An event to raise awareness of breast cancer- men are encouraged to wear something purple as a way of showing support (and a small proportion of those diagnosed with breast cancer are men).

It may not have as much participation as moonwalks and other fund raisers for research, but anything to raise awareness and encourage screening can only be a good thing.

I don't imagine many women going out braless, doesn't sound very appealing to me  Would surely be better for women to wear something purple :curious:

Also who describes breasts as glistening or cuddly? :colonhash:

surely they should get arrested if they go out without a bra? it is indecent

It's a Sunday so I'll probably be at home all day anyway so this is doable. I don't imagine many women going out braless though :K: Would surely be better for women to wear something purple :curious:

yeah i don't think that counts as rasing awareness
I'll happily donate to breast cancer awareness charities but there is no way in hell I'm going braless.

Yeah I edited it, was getting more at the point that not many women would go out braless  Or I don't know many who would. Though I don't think if I saw a woman without a bra in the street I would automatically think of breast cancer awareness, surely a T shirt or pin etc would be more practical :curious:

Excuse me?
No way I would do this. I feel so weird without a bra.
I pledge to not wear a bra to "raise awareness".
We could wear a purple bra outside our clothes? Plenty of people go out in bra tops, sports bras and bikinis anyway. Even evenin dresses that have a bra-shaped section showing.

Charity or no charity. I'm not going out without a bra, I would knock myself out running to lectures.
