What should you research about a company before interview?

Besides knowing what the company sells/provides , what else is essential to know for the interview?
Depends on the in! If you're highly experienced in your field you may not need to do any but if you're an entry level graduate or unqualified then probably a lot more. If you want to work in tescos then very little... But the lore you do then the higher the chance you stand of getting the job!
If we're talking about a graduate job interview or something similar (i.e. not a weekend job at Sainsbury's), then everything you can find. What it has recently been involved in (e.g. for a law firm, I would look at recent cases); its key clients; its competitors; its people; the challenges it faces; its successes; its growth. You need to show an understanding of how the company works and how it can go forward.
