Does an Art and Design FOUNDATION YEAR get funded by your STUDENT LOAN?
I'm really confused! I don't understand how Art Foundation Years work. If you're going to do it at a university, do you start getting your student loan then and do you move into your halls then? Or do you have to pay for it immediately yourself? Please help.

Art foundation courses are free if you are under 19. They don't qualify for student finance, so if you are over 19 you will have to pay fees and support yourself somehow. This is why many people attend their local college for art foundation and live at home.
