Transcription Facilitator/Support Worker/Note Taker

Hi, I've applied to be a note taker/non-medical support worker at my university through a third party company, I've gotten through the first main stage and now they're just checking my references (a little wary as my old boss is often too busy to answer emails) before registering me and setting me up with work.

I think I've pretty much got the job (whoo!) but has anyone else done this before, in any capacity? Or anything similar? I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice for the job in general and/or the semi-interview I reckon there will be?

As I understand I'll attend other lectures aside from my own, take notes and write them up for the person I'm helping. Sounds pretty interesting going to see other courses!
