does anyone know difference between HCA and a ward health care support worker (both are set in a ward)?

I checked online and it seems they are very similar?

HCA is short for healthcare assistant, another name for this is healthcare support worker, auxiliary nurse, nursing auxiliary, support worker, and many many more. It's the same thing.
