Flotation in regards to putting a business on the stock market is essentially the process of a private company becoming a public company (like what's recently happened with Royal Mail).
Shares are issued and this allows the public a chance to purchase them, there's often then a 'lottery' to see who will/won't receive shares.

I hope this helps a little?

Yes, quite. You wouldn't happen to know by any chance what a report is would you? e.g. a report written by a MP vs a report by the gov or a report by a Uni?

Do you just mean a report, as in to report about a certain subject/situation?

EG: The Government release reports all the time referring to what's happening with the world; education, the elderly, financial issues.

I'm not too sure what you mean?

Oh I definitely do not mean those type of Uni reports; I mean the research reports e.g. a report by the Science department into stem cell research etc. (:colondollar:is that even still being researched; I dont know).

So is it the
[h="1"]Non ministerial departments, agencies and other public boides that put togetehr reports and research on behalf of the goverment?.
[/h]I would liek to find out more about this. And how these reports are created? How research is done. Is there a book?

Ahh unfortunately I can't really help you there then, as I'm not sure and wouldn't want to give you the wrong information!

Perhaps create a new thread for that question? :cute:
