Why people are disillusioned by politics.

Because of the sheer hypocrisy and ignorance of the people involved. It is the political class vs the working class, and that's all it'll ever be.

Take for example the referendum over Europe. I'm not saying this should be tomorrow because you need to get information out about each side of the argument. However as a public we are being held to ransom over it. "Vote for us and we'll give you the referendum." Think of how morally wrong in any other workplace that would be. So despite the country crying out for this referendum they'll only do it when it suits them, and if their voted for. Political class vs Working class yet again.

However the worst part and the reason that people get so disillusioned is that none of them have any working class experience. They're all mostly millionaires. Take the Labour front bench. At last count 8 of them were millionaires. Yet they represent the working class? I don't think so. At least the Tories are honest. They are millionaires and they don't hide it. Labour don't.

None, absolutely none of the political class are in any way "in touch" with the working class. None of them.
