Sleep vs study?

So, we've all heard that studying late is a waste of our time because it hinders our performance the next day. But am I the only one that can only study at night?!

Ive got myself into the routine of studying until midnight/early hours, going to bed, waking up and going to school, but then collapsing when I get home! I sleep for an hour or so when I get home because im so tired! Then I'm up all night again!

My routine is *insert every appropriate angry swear*

So I was wondering if anyone could give me (and anyone that shares my problem) an idea of what my routine should be like, and how many hours of work I should be doing a day, and when I should do them!

Just to save questions, I'm studying maths, chemistry, biology and english literature at A level!

Wake up. Get ready. Go to school.

Get home. Study, eat, shower, other stuff until 10 - 11pm. Sleep.

Repeat.
