Corrupt EU officials

I don't think there's anyone who will argue the fact that many EU officials are corrupt and promote the ideas of those who're feeding them. This is a natural political process. But anyway there ought to be some kinda moral boundaries there too which no one should cross. Unfortunately some people either can't see them or ignore them purposefully. So as not to make an unsubstantiated statement I'm gonna make an example.

Former PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu has sold out to the acting president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich and to the head of his administration Serhij Lyovochkin. By accepting valuable 'gifts' in return for promoting Kiev's official policy he betrayed interests not only of his country but of the EU as a whole. He convinced members of PACE not to pay attention to illegal arrest of Yulia Timoshenko, to suppression of opposition and so on. He made it that instead of discussing a relevant issue of Ukraine PACE discussed problems of the Balkans and Africa.
Imho it's of utmost importance that people like him be barred from big politics for life.
