Ah I thought it was a petrol. You never thought the steering was a little light at all? Seemed a little vague from what I remember compared to my mk1 focus.
The steering was light compared to my Peugeot however, the Peugeot was not well looked after and needed about three seteering racks so...the steering actually works properly on this one haha! .I've not owned any other Fords in all honesty so i wouldn't be able to compare them, sorry.
