IELTS problem

Hi there.
I am student from Slovakia and I've just checked my IELTS results. I have overall 6.5/9; listening 8, reading 6.5, speaking 6 and writing only 5.5 -- 3 or even 4 of my choices have the standard of at least 6 points in writing - therefore, this is the only problem.
I'd like to know your opinion. What is the chance I am going get an offer from those unis? Is it like 0% and absolutely no chance or is there a real possibility they will not mind that half a point?

Universities don't usually compromise on IELTS scores. If you apply with lower scores you *might* be asked to attend a preliminary english language course to get your scores up to the right level (which will cost extra) or you might just get rejected.

Your best plan is to retake the test and get your scores up to the requirements.
