GCSEs: I'm from 'Murica. We don't have these. XD
A-Level/Advanced Highers etc: Again, 'Murica.
Qualifications: So far I have 4's in every AP test I've taken (English Language and Comp, European History, and United States History) and I got a 5 on my IB Psychology SL test last year. Also got a 1910 on my SAT (710, 670, 530 in Writing, Critical Reading, and Math respectively... grrr math). I plan to take the Biology, French Language and Culture, Government, and English Lit and Comp AP tests this year, and also to finish off my IB diploma with English, History, and Biology at HL.
Outcome: Unknown
Extras: One of the top five students in my class, and first ever in the nearly 100-year history of my high school to apply for university overseas straight away. I'm an AP Scholar because of the scores I've gotten on those tests so far. I'm (obviously) and international applicant, and apparently the first (or one of the first) ever to apply for a full degree from this uni's Celtic/Scottish studies department... at least according to the international rep I spoke to a while back. Bonus points? :P

GCSEs: I'm an international student from Norway so we don't have these.
A-Level/Advanced Highers etc: Lmao, um. Again I'm Norwegian so we don't really have an equivalent, since we do most subjects over here (english, maths, religion, history etc.) and stick to those for three years
Grade Predictions: 5.3 (A*AA equivalent)
Outcome: Conditional offer set at 4.5! (AAB)
(Note: not really sure about the grades equivalent and such but I'm pretty sure that's it)

So happy about it!

Folks, I've moved a large number of posts from the last few days that are essentially applications chat and therefore off topic in this thread. The idea is that people post details of their applications in this thread following the template (and on the linked wiki if they so wish) to allow fellow applicants to see who is applying where. It becomes very hard to read if you all keep chatting around the sides. So please, if you want to talk to one another about applications, visit our applications to Edinburgh sticky chat thread here. If you want to talk about accommodation then head here. If you need to ask a question about outside courses it's here, and if you want to ask current students something then it's here. You can also always make use of the PM function of this website. Thanks for your understanding.
