Maintenance Loan

Is the maintenance loan for the whole 3 years of university or is it per year at university? e.g £3500 maintenance loan, is that £3500 each year (£10,500 in total for 3 years) or just £3500 to split for the 3 years?

For each year. That is, you get of the order of £10000 in total for maintenance loan.
Per year and you have to apply for it every year. An award is for one year only.
