chemistry with maths personal statement

I'm applying to study both chemistry and maths together but I'm finding it really hard to write a personal statement combining both if them.

Does anyone have any suggestions or example starting points

I presume the dominating subject is chemistry, so write about that, and particularly talk about maths involved in chemistry, such as how electron density can be modelled as a three dimensional standing wave, or even the statistics and kinetic of particle collisions.
If you have any achievements in maths, such as certificates for the UKMT maths challenges, then try and highlight them too.
