i tried to get Ibrhimovitc from Inter i bid 45 million, they said 160million. Not quite worth it. That was back in the 07 game though.
Is the "club" worth in the game accurate? When i see a league one team worth 2million, is that accurate in being that in real life its worth close to that?

    Are CM games still around?
CM01-02 is still a popular game amongst many people because it's the last game in the series before they introduced the 2D pitch and a new game engine that they did in CM4 and then it's successors.

EVer screwed up a players career u think?
I know i have messed up Bendtners career. Well i think so, he has only scored about 30 goals in 8 seasons, yet he still finds himself at AC milan...
I would also say that i messed up Velas career. He has only scored 15 goals in 8 seasons! but he has done a tour of clubs, Arsenal (me) barce, roma, and now at chelsea.
Actualyl, most of my youngsters are messed up, i am now stuck with a slowly aging squad, no real quality comming through, bare bones of young quality in the actual game and a huge transfer fund. Close to 90 million, which i can up to 115 million if i want to. But i had no1 to buy, so im in november, and nothing to do with all the cash. Ideally iwould tell the board to pay off the loan the club has, or get them to open up academies all over the world. But i cant. Will this be a feature in the next game!?

i hope so. and i hope you can get offered young players by separate academys from the club. And yeah setting others up around the world would be amazing. Having an option to click into your academy's and see what young prospects you can bring over. aswell as offering them to other clubs to improve and sell.

If the site's still up, scouts for older Football/Championship Manager titles might still be found at http://www.nygreen.net (Michael Nygreen's now a moderator on SI's forums and discontinued his series of editors a couple of years ago)

Andrew might of meant CM games since the developer/publisher split. (The awful ones lol)

CM01-02 isn't an awful game. So much fun with a nice fast game rather than a game that goes snail pace and takes an hour to get to the start of the season.

The "awful ones" he's referring to are ones released after the SI/Eidos split: CM5, CM06, CM07, CM08...ones developed by Beautiful Game Studios instead of Sports Interactive Same name, totally different quality :p: Eidos ****ed up :ninja:
