Can't find training schedules for some reason.

Here's my tactic though:

Cant thank you enough for that! Believe me, if you saw the state of affairs at my Liverpool team you'd thoroughly understand my joy :biggrin: A shame about the training schedules though, i'll just have to improvise :p:

Thanks again.

What dos the stars mean and how do you change it?

Is there any way you can check what the coach specialises in?

Cheers for the tips anyway.
Well ideally you want 5 stars on all your training schedules.

I'll post a screenshot of my training tomorrow sometime.. prob 2m night.

If you're a big club, go look at Man United's staff and try and poach some of their coaches. They are nearly always all world class.

You'll see a coaches rating just like a players rating.

Out of 20.. but rather than the players attributes you'll see "tactics" "set pieces" "shooting" "defending" instead.

i made an amazing training scedule with my edited team.. (i know i know) got from conference north to Prem in 5 years.. got to the prem and the training sced backfired... got 13 players out injured.. so i think.. Training sceds have different effects in different leagues.

Still i found a post on the official forums the other week about getting coaches and stars all at 5 stars.. its what ive done.. ill find the post and link it on here for you all..

Maybe Dali can put it on the main page aswell!
Ziggy - Ill post a picture of my training stuff later

By the way, how do i see my record against other teams over the past few seasons? forgot how to...

How do you get a player a work permit, I signed Utsari but he hasn't got a work permit, I even sent him out on loan and nothing, any ideas?

Alex being an arse fan, im incline to suggest its a forgery :p:

Bizarre, never happened to me before. Send him to a belgium feeder club. In the most likely event that you dont have one, you can check in the affiliates details to see if any of your feeder clubs will benefit your cause - it'll tell you. I havent personally done this - im basing this on pure fm theory (lol) but it should take you a season, 2 at most to get him the permit.

Care to have another guess, dear? :p:
Assuming that the worker doesn't get a work permit through playing for his country, they'd need to obtain EU nationality. There are three EEC countries where this takes three years: Belgium, Northern Ireland and Poland. There are other countries, of course (e.g. Spain, Denmark, Austria), but those three do it the quickest.
Any recommendations for Berwick Rangers :tongue:

Get decent scouts - send one to scout Scotland, one to scout England. They'll find you all the players you'll need :wink:

Getting a work permit through international games is something really complex...I'll dig around, see if I can find it...

A player must have played for his country in at least 75% of its competitive 'A' team matches he was available for selection, during the two years preceding the date of the application; and,

The player's country must be at or above 70th place in the official FIFA world rankings when averaged over the two years preceding the date of the application.

The definition of a competitive 'A' team international match is a:

* World Cup Finals game
* World Cup Qualifying group game

Football Association confederation tournament game, for example:

* The FIFA Confederations Cup;
* The UEFA European Championships and Qualifiers;
* The African Cup of Nations and Qualifiers;
* The Asia Nations Cup and Qualifiers;
* The CONCACAF Gold Cup;
* The CONCACAF The Copa Caribe;
* The CONMEBOL Copa America;
* The OFC Nations Cup and
* The UNCAF Nations Cup

lol thats very harsh! Im sure that can only be bad for English football irl, as well as in fm. In game, if memory serves me right - we dont actually get to have the work permit status reassesed do we? Or is this just done automatically?

Also, im sure this being a student forum, you've all got very busy academic + social lives...:rolleyes: but would it be unreasonable suggesting an online fm game over easter?

I think you only need 2 years for a work permit in Belgium, not 3.
