Engineering Degree HELP!! :)

Hi, Im new to here

Im looking into the Engineering Degree that the OU offer, has anyone done their degree through them?

Also, is it respected? Like do people treat it like they would if I'd have done it at an actual University?

Currently I am sub contracting for a massive aerospace company in the UK, but I would like to actaully be one their books and do abit more engineering than what I am at the moment, therefore doing the degree would help me get on... I think.

Up to now I have done my apprenticeship - 4 years of hard work, I have got an NVQ Level 2 in Engineering Operation, an NQV Level 3 in Tool Making. I have also an ONC in Manufacturing Engineering, graded double distinction and also a HNC in Manufacturing Engineering, graded double distinction. I have also completed a foundation degree in Computer Aided Engineering.
