Work Experience Before A Levels

I'm in year 11 now and hoping to become a software engineer. Most people that get work experice are either doing A levels or in further education. Is it possible to get work experience related to my field in the summer before A levels? Can anyone that's done this or knows someone that's done this help me?

Your not expected to have work experience for your chosen field. Mainly because it's unlikely you will do much relevant stuff. Most of the 'good' work experience goes to college leavers / undergrads.

It's possible obviously. If you email various companies, I'm sure they will offer the possibility of shadowing. Most likely ask for a CV and perhaps an informal chat before.

It's so early, you shouldn't worry at all.
